Ok, that was definitely too much brass.
Some tips.
Turn the brass down.
Drums: Louder.
Guitars: Louder.
I can hardly hear either of them.
The guitars sound sort of fuzzy, I'm guessing you recorded them directly without a mic and amp, get some sort of amp simulation.
Another tip: Play and record the guitar track twice and pan each track all the way left and right, this will give it a full and rich sound.
I see some good potential in the song, keep it up :D

I've had lots of deaths in my life recently, it's always hard to cope with it. Music was mostly my only way to come by.
Great song, short, but full of feeling. Loved it. Riff was awesome, sound was awesome, clean part made me want to waltz :D

... but this whole setup is so... generic. I just get the feeling I've heard this before. Anyway, the mix was pretty cool all in all. The volumes were all good, the guitars weren't too loud in comparison to the drums etc. just one thing: the mix overall was TOO LOUD. I can hear numerous clippings, just turn down the volume a bit...

Only ONE thing: The drums at the part starting at 1:02, repeated at 2:25 and 3:37 are missing some symbol hits... Actually just some bell hits would be enough... It just sounds so empty with only bassdrum and snare playing.
